My Life

So, far I am just dragged along to a lot of places - the park, shopping, Fall Fest, Trunk or Treat...it is a lot for a week old baby! I just like to sleep and hang...is that too much to ask??





And do I have any pictures with my Mommy??

So Far...

I have not been around long, but here is a recap. I slept really well the first night. The nurses said that might happen because I might be tired from the circumsision - no kidding. The next few nights have been pretty typical, waking to eat, sleep, etc.

I am slightly jaundiced from being vacuumed out. Because of the jaundice I am pretty tired and tend to fall asleep while I am eating. I have to go be pricked again in a couple of days to see if I am better. Otherwise, it is under the tanning lamps I go!!

Wow! I got home and there was a sign for me, a present (thank you Cohey), and people have been coming over non stop! This is so cool.

I'm Heeeeere!

Hello, everyone. I am officially here. I made my grand, dramatic entrance on Thursday, October 18, 2007 at 9:49 am. I was 8 pounds and 21 3/4 inches. My Mommy and Daddy thought my entrance into this world would not be as scary or dramatic as my brother's, but I am not to be outdone!! I pretty much mirrored Aron's entrance. My heartrate dropped dramatically when Mommy was puking. I would not bring it back up and I would not be pushed out. So, I was vacuumed out, and not breathing very well. I only made bird calls and gasped for air. But my Daddy gave me a blessing and I perked up, especially after a kiss from my Mommy before they took me to the NICU. I bounced back great and we came home the next day. I have darker hair than my brother, but we look a lot alike, especially since I have a cone head just like he did!! I have met many new people, but I cannot wait to take a picture with my whole family!! I love you!

Celebration in My Honor

Well, no sign of me arriving yet, I am taking my sweet time. In the meantime, Aunty Mandy and Aunty Stacy had a small party for me. Here are some of the pictures. I see my big brother is enjoying my cake!!

I am a boy!

It is official, Mommy went to the ultrasound people last week, May 31. They had the tech write my gender in an envelope. Then they took it to Janie and Jack and had the sales lady look in the envelope and pick out an outfit for the correct gender and put it in a box. The next night, Mommy and Daddy opened the box with family and friends. Well, the outfit was blue and the card said, "boy"!! So, I have a name...William Maxwell Leal
